first dip

I bought a wading pool at Target today, since it's been blazing hot around here. It was so cute to see Ollie getting to know his very first outdoor bathtub. The water was pretty cold so he was a little apprehensive at first but it didn't take him long till he was splashing around like a pro. I couldn't help but remember splashing around in my own blow up pool in the backyard. One year I even made a cover out of black plastic garbage bags and used "chlorine" to keep the algae away.

I am looking forward to more splash time with our little red head. Maybe next time we will try a big pool. And don't worry we lathered on sunscreen.
